After the sponsorship of exhibition of modern Nordic Glass “A Touch of Glass”, our company supported planting campaign of 100 trees of Embassy of Finland, with which this Northern country marks one hundred years of independence.

In the presence of Major of Belgrade Mr. Sinisa Mali, Director of Public Communal Company “Greenery Belgrade” Mr. Slobodan Stanojevic and President of Municipality Savski venac, Mrs. Irena Vujovic, Ambassador of Finland, H.E. Mr. Perti Ikonen gifted 20 cherry blossom trees to municipality Savski venac for forest Bencion Buli.

So far, besides of Belgrade, trees have been planted in Nis and Kragujevac, with aim of raising awareness about ecologically responsible acting. With 65% of territory covered with woods, Finland is the greenest country in the world.

Company EuroCons Group supported this campaign of Embassy of Finland because it shares the same values as this wealthy Nordic country when it comes to care about environment and necessity of raising awareness among citizens of Serbia about this very important topic.
